Each movement card provides a fitness or manipulative-skill activity/exercise that includes a brief instructional direction and a graphic that depicts the activity.

These 100 Days of School Movement Stations are ideal for a physical education or classroom teacher to use during the 100th day of school week to reinforce movement concepts such as dribbling, tossing, catching, twirling, volleying, jumping, scooting, locomotor movement and flexibility. These stations were created to be “FUN” and your students will ask you to bring them out every year during this special time of the year!
YOU CAN MODIFY THIS ACTIVITY TO FIT YOUR SITUATION!!!
**Since 100 repetitions is a lot for younger students to count, have them work with a partner, trio or small group and use the activity as a math lesson too; adding the number of combined repetitions to equal 100 per station rotation
**Use the 100 Days of School Movement Stations over multiple days leading up to the actual 100th day and divide the 100 reps into the number of days you use them, giving you a perfect opportunity to discuss division with the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders
**Classroom teachers could borrow some equipment from a PE teacher and use the movement stations as an "Energizer" or "Brain Break" during a "stressful" day in the classroom. Try moving some desks in your classroom, going outside or asking to borrow some gym or cafeteria space during the day (when others are not occupying the space)!
The 100 Days of School Movement Stations were designed for Kindergarten through 5th grade students.

This Striking, Volleying and Dribbling (hands) Skill Cues- PE Display Board has been uniquely developed as a valuable and attractive visual aid for teaching skill-based sport units in physical education. The problem with display boards in a gym is that they are often too small so the students, teachers, and visitors cannot read the information posted rendering it inadequate for its prime purpose. The entire display is designed to cover a large space like a gym wall or can be condensed to fit on and around a medium to large sized bulletin board.
The display board has a large “central piece banner” made up of 8 connecting 8 ½” by 11” sheets which includes the “Unit Title” and a subheading describing the “Skill Cues”. The banner also includes some eye-catching graphics that go along with the skill set. The entire display board also comes with 6 colorful dribbling with hands, striking and volleying sport names and 18 cues (6 per skill) for 1. Dribbling (hands), 2. Striking and 3. Volleying. A graphic image for each skill (3 total) also accompany the skill cues.
The ‘cue descriptions/graphics” used in this display for dribbling with hands, striking and volleying along with the “sport names” are helpful as a reference for you as a teacher and can be highlighted during PE lessons. The banner, words and graphics are meant to be laminated and can be used for many, many years. Forget about your old “drab” hand made bulletin boards. This display board will be attention-grabbing and can be utilized as an effective teaching tool during your lessons. Each skill cue (18) and graphic image (3) is one 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper in size.
This “Applying the National PE Standards” Display Board has been uniquely developed as a valuable and attractive visual aid for standards based programs in physical education.
The problem with display boards in a gym is that they are often too small so the students, teachers, and visitors cannot read the information posted rendering it inadequate for its prime purpose. These Banners are designed to cover a large space on your gym wall or hallway leading in to your gym.
All that observe the Display Board can clearly see the attractive writing and graphics that make it up. Your students, administrators, colleagues and parents know that you are serious about establishing and maintaining a “Standards-Based” Program in physical education.
Each “Applying the National Standards" Banner (NASPE Standard's 1 through 5) is made up of 8 connecting 8 ½” by 11” sheets making a large banner. There are currently 5 National PE standards; therefore 5 large banners make up the Display Board (48 in all). Each banner is made up of the following components: 1. Standard Title, 2. The Standard wording, 3. Description of how the standard is implemented, and 4. Eye catching graphics that go along with the Standard. The “Applying the National PE Standards” Display Board is colorful but has a white background as to not use up too much ink when you print.
NEW- I have recently added a folder of "Non-Segregated" JPEG images of the banners for those that have a school poster maker or are willing to pay a company like Office Depot to print out poster-sized replications of the images. This alternate method for producing the large banners saves time but may not have the same quality as printing out the individual PDF 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheets on a color printer and constructing the banner by hand.
The wording and description used in the banners are helpful as a reference for you as a teacher and can be highlighted during PE lessons. The entire “Applying the National PE Standards” Display Board (made up of 5 Banners) is meant to be laminated and can be use for many years. This display board will be attention-grabbing and can be utilized as an effective teaching tool during your lessons.

The activities are standards-based and there are plenty of activities for you to choose from or for the students to take part in during multiple class periods or recess times if necessary.
These Base Game Stations are ideal for a physical education teacher to teach manipulative skills such as throwing, fielding, catching and striking and developing skill-related components of fitness such as agility, reaction time and coordination.
